Thomas Boyden. - Bond of thomas Boyden, yeoman late of Boston, now of Medfield, of 180#, to Edward Rawson. Said Boyden was bound for the sum of #300, together with the house, upland and meadow, then in his possession, lately the inheritance of Joseph Morse, late of Medfield. If said Boyden maintain the children of the late Joseph Morse and Hannah his wife, till the time of their nonage or marriage, or till they choose their guardians, teaching, or causing the sons of the said Morse to write and read, and, at their several marriages, or days of age, shall pay unto each of the said children the portions to them assigned by the court at Boston, in January last, & by the General Court approved of, then this obligation to be void. 10/18/1661. He married (1) ELIZABETH MOORE/WOOD11 February 10, 1664/65 in Medfield, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts12. He married (2) SARAH THURSTON April 29, 1684. Samuel raised the alarm when Indians attacked Medfield in 1676. 1680; Medfield, MA voted to grant 50 acres of land for a mill on the Charles River, and to exempt the mill from taxes for seven years. It was built at the Bent, now Rockville by; John Metcalf Sr., John Partridge Sr., Samuel Morse, Edward Adams, Joseph Allen, John Metcalf Jr., Nathaniel Allen, George Barber, Ephraim Wight, Samuel Barber, John Plympton, and Benjamin Wheelock. Erected in memory of Capt. Isaac Bullard who died Jan 12, 1814 in the 88th year.
From "History of the Towns of Sherborn and Holiston," by Rev. Abner Morse in 1856: Isaac Bullard, settled in Sherborn, now North part of Holliston, drew 1715 and 1730, in Douglas, 70 acres. He made his will July 6, 1742, giving the improvement of his house and land to his wife Sarah during the minority of his son, Isaac, after which Isaac should occupy one half until her decease, when an equal division of what had been his home lands, including 70 acres priviously given to his son Samuel, should be made to the two sons. He also mentioned his three daughters, all then living and married. Sarah and Samuel were made executors, and presented their account Sept. 1743. His estate was appraised Sept. 15, 1742, but his will (see Mid. Prob.) seems not to have been proved. Sarah was appointed , Aug. 13, 1742, guardian to her son Isaac, then in his 16th Year.

Abraham Harding Sr., John Partridge and Theophilus Clark to get up a petition to the town clerk of Medfield to procure accomodations for the setting of the meeting house upon the place commonly called the Bare Hills, and some place for the ministry thereabouts.
