    • The 1860 Census for Philip Van Valkenburgh has some wierd names that appear to be middle names. Both Elizabeth and Benton are listed it is my thought that maybe Thomas B is Thomas Benton and for some unknown reason the census taker was bored or something. I will have to do more research but for now I am going to make them thhe same person sense it is the most logical result.
