ENGLISH ANCESTRY: According to source, " The first family of any mention is
John de Huse, who in 1066, A.D., received a grant of a manor in Berkshire,
England. From him the Howes line descended. The family settled in Norfolk
county, England in 1457, A.D., town of Besthorpe under the reign of Henry VI.
Besthorpe (Thorpe in old English means hamlet or town, Bes is short for best)
was the family seat for seven generations:
