  SOURCE: Holliston Historical Soc.- Record of the Descendants of Timothy Rockwood by (his granddaugther) E.L. Rockwood Luther Rockwood was still alive when "Records of the Decendants of T.Rockwood" was written. He was the only surviving child ( out of 12 ) of Timothy and had loss 2 of 2 wifes, 4 of 9 children and 11 of 16 grandchildren. Most had succumbed to consumption or small pox. He lived with Ruth, Elsie's mother, for almost 50 years. They lived in the homestead estate received from his father and situated about a mile west of Holliston Center.
